Suspect Charged After Police Find Stolen Merchandise
Cameron police stopped a speeding car Tuesday and recovered stolen tools and other merchandise. Kenneth Wayne Johnson, 20, of Cameron was charged with felony theft in Milam County Court after officers found a tool chest with $350 in carpenters tools reported stolen November 21 from Steve Sveilik near Newton Hospital. The suspect said he pawned some tools in Temple. Police investigate ownership of the remaining items.
