Deep Test Oil Venture Near Cameron and Gause
The firm signed a contract with BE J Buckingham of San Antonio to drill a 3000 foot deep test six miles southwest of Cameron and two miles north of Tracy oil field. Drilling could reach 6000 feet, with 2500 acres surrendered for the test and a 160 acre offset kept. If Austin White Lime appears before 5000 feet, a second well must follow within 60 days. Stock offered at $50.50 per share through December 25 with potential rise to $75 if unsold.
