Rainfall over the county Monday and Tuesday was very light with Cameron recording .45 inches. The rain cooled the air but did not relieve drought. Stock water is scarce, ranges are low, and feed is hard to find. Most upland cotton is open and ready for pickers while bottom lands remain largely unopened.
