A list of proposed city projects includes a street lighting system, a city owned swimming park and bath house, an adequate school gymnasium, and a market center for farmers located away from the courthouse.
Ninety twelve cent cotton loan backed by government announced by James M. Tongate with an initial 10 cent advance. Tax free cotton qualifies for the loan, others must hold exemption certificates and sign a government contract to participate. Remaining balance payable at farmer's option.

Judge Jeff T. Kemp applied Friday to the Texas Centennial allotment committee for 25000 to erect a monument to Ben Milam, patriot of Texas liberty. Milam county has not yet received any allotment. Milam, native of Miss, figured prominently in Texas history.
Cameron Yoemen football boss Coach Wood declares the 1935 squad in training with 1034 record behind him. A meeting for prospective players is set Sunday at 5 pm at the school. Work starts September 2 with optimism for a capable, brainy team in pursuit of the Maroon title.
Less than half the county voters cast ballots as four amendments won and three lost. Repeal passed by 196 votes and the old age pension amendment led by size. Deputy Sheriff McCall found surgical instruments on the John B. McLane property lake while locating a stolen purse and coat. most items recovered, suggesting a transient thief who fled.
The largest Southern Presbyterian church invites all to a Cameron revival led by Dr. Hill, pastor and renowned Texas Ranger and former chaplain for the Texas Sheriff's Association. He will speak nightly, sharing decades of service as a lawman and clergy.
