Cameron gets OK for S&W clinic and new building
Scott and White will construct a 12,500 square foot Cameron clinic with 15 exam rooms two treatment rooms a 1000 square foot lobby and a drive-through pharmacy. Dr Mike Locklear will lead a staff of about 13 with room for up to five providers and on site x ray and lab services. The project aims to boost local health care and economic development earning praise from community leaders.

Cameron police arrest nine after gambling and drug raid
Cameron police along with DPS troopers Milam County constables and sheriff deputies arrested nine people on drug related charges after a search warrant at 907 N Nolan St in Cameron. Eight adults and one juvenile were detained after officers found crack cocaine and marijuana and a gambling table in the garage.
