Milam Highway Patrolman Odis Hilderbrandt reported two highway accident victims Monday night. Lizzie Bunton a colored woman from Gause died at Storey-Fleming Hospital Hearne from injuries after a car driven by Jesse William Hudson 23 of Austin struck her. The crash occurred at 7 45 p.m. A separate 1 a m wreck three miles south of Rockdale on Highway 77 killed Louis Gonzales 30 of Laredo instantly when his 1950 Plymouth overturned. Jesus Govela 28 of Laredo was seriously injured and others in the car suffered minor injuries. Cadet James B McClellen Baylor University returned from Air Force ROTC training at March Air Force Base California. He will be commissioned as a second lieutenant after completing college and training.
