Milam county residents will vote on August 26 to decide if beer up to 3.2 percent should be sold and consumed within county borders. The 1933-34 Cameron Public Schools begin Monday September 4 at 8:30 with registration and schedule fixing on Monday and Tuesday. Classes start Wednesday. W A Morrison Dies At Home In Cameron August 18 1933
W A Morrison 74 died at his Cameron home Friday August 18 1933 at 3 a m after erysipelas and blood poisoning from a neck infection. A lawyer and educator, he was born October 17 1859 in Memphis Tennessee and had lived in Texas over 50 years, including Cameron for 35. He taught early in life and held wide acquaintance as a neighbor and citizen. See Morrison on page 4.

A mass meeting to prevent diphtheria and typhoid fever will be held Sunday afternoon in District Court Room Cameron. Miss Celia Moore will preside as itinerant State Health nurse and provide a toxoid serum drive with free doses for parents unable to pay on Wednesday at Ada Henderson school from 9 to 12 and 1 to 4. Those able to pay 50 cents per treatment. The clinic serves Cameron and neighboring areas with nurses volunteering under Dr W R Newton county health officer.
