Cameron native inspires via senior soccer gold and goals
Kitty Kestenbaum, 58, a Buckholts resident and Cameron native, captains the Texas Lone Star Strikers over 55 team. The Dallas-based squad won gold at the 2009 Summer National Senior Games at Stanford, finishing 6-0 with a 1-0 title match win over California Sage. Kestenbaum credits visualization and goal setting to stay active in athletics while managing a pest control business and plans to return to Cameron full time.
