Death of Neil Carmichael Pioneer Texan in Ben Arnold
Neil Carmichael, 73, a native of Texas, died at his home in Ben Arnold on Sunday morning August 14, 1908 at 4 40 o clock. The body was found at 5 a m by household members. He was a member of a pioneer family and a lifelong Democrat respected for his strength of character and mind. He had lived in Milam County since 1901 and moved to Ben Arnold shortly before his death.
