Eleven Names on Trustee Ballot for Special Election

C N Green 69 pioneer Cameron merchant was found dead in bed Wednesday morning likely from a heart stroke. Funeral services set for 5 p.m. Thursday at Oak Hill Cemetery with Rev BE Ingram and Rev J Coy Williams officiating. Green, born April 24 1867 in Columbus Georgia, moved to Texas 45 years ago and led C N Green & Son Mercantile with son Charles Frank Green active in the business.

Frank Green of Cameron is seriously ill at his Green Addition home with typhus fever and a kidney ailment. The illness keeps him from attending his father C. N. Green's funeral and will likely keep him from business for several weeks.

L N Posey Dies on Farm in Milam County

Funeral services for L. N. Posey 72 of Marlow were held at the Marlow Baptist church with Rev. J Coy Williams and Rev. O C Aerey officiating. Burial was in Cameron Oak Hill cemetery. Posey a farmer, died Tuesday night after a two week illness. First Bale Given at Cameron Theatre Anniversary Night

Stanley Swift announced Cameron Theatre will give away the first bale for the 656th year as a fundraiser. The first bale, bought per pound, was used to supplement the Thursday program for theatre patrons. Swift began the tradition in 1923 and distributed the bale during the awards program.
