Presbyterians Here Stress Mission Work in Cameron
Central Texas Presbytery opened at the Cameron Presbyterian church with Judge W. G. Gillis presiding. Rev. H. G. Kenney preached the opening sermon from Luke 7 1. The gathering elected Rev C D Peake moderator and Rev Malcolm L Purcell temporary clerk as reports show growing church involvement and emphasis on foreign and local missions amid fundraising difficulties. Resolutions thanked Cameron for Treble Clef Club hospitality and noted a busy program of music and refreshments.
