Cameron Texas April 14 1915 Rural Mail Carriers now authorized to insure parcels collected on their routes and to receipt for C O D packages at patrons homes. They will have scales for weighing parcels and blank receipts for C O D. Edward F English postmaster requests publicity.

The Hoyte Melon-Truck Growers Association plans a Monday night meeting April 26 at Dr. Pope's residence with Kansas buyers and railroad officials to discuss a depot and loading facilities. Mesdames Lyon and Sapp visited The Herald office Saturday afternoon.
