The Rural Electrification Administration prepared a draft Environmental Impact Statement under NEPA for a proposed 400 MW lignite plant 15 miles south of Jourdanton Texas. The project includes 254 miles of 345 KV lines 195 miles of 138 KV lines and 25 miles of 69 KV lines across multiple Texas counties. Public review is available during business hours at the borrowers offices with comments due by April 13 1976.

The conference runs to 5:30 p.m. and is free.
