Mrs. R. R. Tyson Dies at Home in Austin
Mrs. R R Tyson formerly of Cameron and Maysfield died Wednesday at her Austin home. Funeral services were held at Southern Presbyterian Church in Austin with burial there. She was the widow of Randolph R Tyson a former Milam county legislator. She was born Jennie McGuire and the family had lived in Maysfield before moving to Cameron and then Austin.

Career Air Corps Tech Sergeant Moran Deploys Across Bases
Tech Sergeant August Moran, six years in the U S Army Air Corps, serves in the mechanical division near St Petersberg Florida. He volunteered in 1937, trained at Chanute Field Illinois, then Langley Field Virginia and Barksdale Field Louisiana, served on the west coast Hamilton Field California, and later moved to North and South Carolina bases before the Florida posting. He married Velma Plachy January 11 1941. Moran is a Cameron Yee High School and Travelton College graduate who joined the Air Corps after college.

Death of Mexican man found on Santa Fe tracks in Cameron
Tiodoro Ybarra, 25, Mexican resident of Cameron, was found dead on Santa Fe Railway tracks Sunday morning just after 5 am. His severed body lay in two parts about six feet apart near the stock pens. Dusek found the body, and Santa Fe officials notified Justice of the Peace Womack Brashear, who investigated with Sheriff Carl Black. A watch and a flattened penny were recovered. The body was taken to Green Funeral Home and funeral services were reported as held Sunday.
