Rockfield Social Notes Highlight Local Visits

Rus Logan and Lee Flora of Cicero spent the weekend at home. Catherine Brechbiel stayed with Marceda Sink in Burrows. Morton Brechbiel hosted the Montgomerys, and James Burke remains in critical condition at his son’s home. The Christian Church Woman's Union met with Mrs. Thelma Fidler, six teens present, lesson led by Mrs. Mahalie Peyton and Mrs. Aliie May, refreshments served. Earl Snyder and family and John Coble and family visited Burttsville. Mildred Million sang at Camides Opera House Sunday night. Willard Veach hosted Miss Bowen and Floyd Lareed from Logansport.

Camden Red Devils face Carrollton Cardinals at 10:00 A M Saturday with two wins needed to enter the county invitation tournament at Burlington. Earlier meetings had Camden winning 16 14 and 18 14, leaving the teams evenly matched. The Camden squad led by Gard ner Wagoner odge O Re ar Larimore Lane Lloyd Randolph Maxwell and kes trained on fundamentals and showed strong offense in recent wins over Rockfield A 27 12. Camden Junior High beat Yeoman 18 12 in a preliminary to the Rockfield game.
