Tuber culosis Association Meeting in Carroll County

A Carroll County tuberculosis association meeting is set for Friday November 7 at the Lutheran Bank in Camden. Local committee members Mrs Arthur Kitchey Mrs Joe Vurpilat Mrs Harold Baker and Mrs Janes P Wason will host with Rev Kahl Mausie officiating. The program includes business reports and a discussion of the 1950 Tuberculosis Christmas Seal Sale.

Wayne Coy Takes Over Delphi Citizen Ownership

Wayne Coy and his wife assumed ownership and editorial control of the Delphi Citizen on November 1 after negotiations for the purchase of the newspaper and equipment, with a lease on the real estate for several years. The change surprised readers and Carroll County residents, as the Coys bring long newspaper experience to the northern Indiana paper. The Record-News joins others in welcoming the new publishers.

Mary Landis daughter of Charles Landis at Rockfield was taken to Cass County hospital Sunday afternoon where doctors operated for acute appendicitis. She is doing as well as can be expected and is a Rockfield High School sophomore and basketball team member.
