Firemen from Engine 5 Inman Square and their guests enjoyed an open house with a graphophone concert by Thomas Roch of Boston and cornet solos by Edward Fitzgerald. Mayor Wardwell attended with city officials as over 2 000 people toured the decorated premises and a fireworks display closed the celebration.

Lawn Party Aided Holy Ghost Hospital Garden Picnic

Ideal weather marked the annual lawn party for Holy Ghost Hospital, a major charitable institution. The Cambridge Cadet Band played. booths, rides, and tables ran smoothly under Henry J. Cunningham’s leadership.
