State rests case in leisure trial as defense calls many witnesses

Several community events noted include a teacher absence shrinking Kansas school, a Sith birthday, church services at Brushy Fork Baptist Church led by Rev N D Cunningham, and Sunday school officer elections. Mr Ferguson, the main carrier of Lere City R F D No 1, resigned and left March 15 1906. Mr Potts will fill the position.

James B Wilson a Byesville resident and noted local citizen died at his home at 11 30 due to obstruction of the bowels He was seventy two born in Washington county Ohio and lived in Marietta before moving to Byesville His wife eight children survive including J Irvin Wilson of Brenan and Wilson A fall two weeks earlier left him with a broken left hip He attended the Baptist church Short funeral services were conducted at the Byesville home by Rev Mr Wilson and Rev Mr Gear and the remains were sent to Marietta for burial Wednesday afternoon
