Great Atlantic Fleet to Sail Pacific via Magellan
The Navy plans the December 1 15 departure of the Atlantic fleet for a voyage to the Pacific coast via the Straits of Magellan. Ten small colliers and twelve additional ships will supply coal reaching Magdalena Bay by March 9 with crews training at Puget Sound and San Francisco.
