Guernsey's Chance for State Road Funds
Citizens and commissioners urge Gov Cox to advance Guernsey County a share of the $800000 state and federal road fund for the old pike project. Officials expect about $150000 for Guernsey, with State Road Commissioner Marker and the governor leaning in favor. Other counties near the Ohio line prepare to claim funds, while Guernsey risks remaining a mud hole if they delay.
