In Ada Oklahoma on April 20, two hundred citizens seized from jail and hanged four wealthy landowners tied to the murder of Deputy U S Marshal A L Bobbitt. J B Miller of Fort Worth B B Burrell of Duncan Jesse West and Joseph Allen of Canadian were executed after a mob surrounded the jail and forced entry. Miller calmly handed a diamond and scarf pin to a guard before death.
