At eight o clock Saturday night the Colorado exploded its starboard boiler six miles above Burraro N Y. The blast wrecked upper decks and caused multiple injuries. Henry Allen died after removal. Several deck hands were injured or missing including James Farrell and Daniel Ellis. Tugs Mary Griffin and others aided, four doctors attended the scene.
