Train disaster and other events on the 13th and 15th

A construction train derailed near Shenandoah New York injuring thirty workmen with several injuries including broken limbs and skull fractures. Brakeman Charles Moore was killed at Miller's Station Pennsylvania. The Pennsylvania Legislature voted to adjourn sine die on December 5. Notable deaths include Dr Marvin Sims Admiral J B Creighton and others. A sulfur explosion at Eagle Hill Colliery killed two men and injured a boy fatally. Reports also note forgeries indictments a Maine cyclone and various arrests and industry shifts.

Embezzlement arrest of John Ansley occurred in La Salle. A derailment near Jamestown Mo caused a wheel break leading to a 15 foot plunge with injuries.
