Obituary for Nicholas Gehring of Cambridge City

Nicholas Gehring, born May 15 1866 in Richmond Indiana, died June 7 1918 aged 62 years 22 days. He married Alice Bertsch March 24 1897 and leaves three sons and five daughters, a mother, two brothers, two sisters, and two grandchildren. A stone mason, he was a longtime resident and Odd Fellows member. funeral at East Cambridge Monday led by Rev Hanes. Burial at Pershing Lutheran cemetery. Also noted is the death of J O Frazier’s brothers Simon Frazier and James M Frazier with brief family recollections and remarks on the Fraziers.

Car crashes through garage wall in Oakland Sunday
