Memorial: Howard A Coleman Dies in Road Work Accident

Howard A Coleman 38, of Richmond, a veteran employed by a contracting firm, was killed Monday afternoon when a backing truck ran over his chest on the National road east of Cambridge City. He leaves four brothers Henry and John of Connersville, George of Centerville, and Alonzo of this place. Funeral services are set for Thursday morning in Richmond.

Serious injuries after broadside collision near Dublin crossroad

Theodore Crist of Milton is in serious condition after a broadside collision at the crossroad of the foundry road and the old state road south of Dublin. Mrs. Crist and two Rushville girls escaped with minor cuts. Richard Paul suffered a head cut. Theodore Crist has a broken collar bone and possible internal injuries. Both cars were badly damaged and occupants were taken to their homes.
