Captain Williams Killed in Action in France

Captain Henry Lee Jewett Williams of Macon was killed in action in France on June 11, according to cablegrams. He was the son of Dr. Howard J. Williams founder of the Williams Sanatorium and was the first Macon man to die in the war. He studied at the University of Georgia and Oxford, taught at Sewanee, and served in the army after training at Atlanta.
