Warning to Choose Between Democratic Progressives and La Follette
Editor Tom Hamilton of the Augusta Chronicle voices a warning amid McAdoo support. He argues the November 4 decision pits reaction against radicalism and urges Georgia Democrats to back progressive democracy to ensure civilization and victory for the Democratic Party against La Follette's socialist, pacifist platform. He recalls 1917 opposition to Wilson and calls for fundraising and active voting to secure progressive Democratic success.
