Americus Man Tricked by Woman Leaves Baby at Station
Americus Dec. 16. T M Furlow a well known local man was approached by a stylish woman at Macon Union Station who asked him to buy a ticket. She handed him the money and then disappeared after entrusting her baby to his care. He kept the infant with milk and a blanket until the party found a home for the child and took it to the suburban residence. He says the child would be raised as part of his family and educated with Christian influences.
