A Greyhound bus en route to Colum bus tipped and partially overturned seven miles north of Columbus. One person hospitalized and four injured including 79 year old Mrs. Alice Hale of California en route to Buena Vista. Ellaville Georgia April 8 military funeral rites were held at Hopewell Methodist church for Willie Le DeVane 27 a Schley county native and World War II veteran killed in an automobile crash near Elizabethtown Kentucky He enlisted in 1941 served in Navy and was discharged 1947 He married Alice Singletary in 1947 and was survived by his widow two parents and four brothers.
