Dawson Girl Killed In Collision In Georgia
Americus, Ga April 8 Miss Alice Ruth Timmerman a Dawson school teacher died Saturday afternoon when her car returning to Plains from Americus was wrecked by a liquor car. Two negro drivers fled as sheriff and posse pursued them. Taylor Superior Court adjourned for farming season after a forceful charge by Judge McLaughlin praising Sheriff McGuffin and urging reform through homes and schools. The grand jury found thirty bills and eleven no bills and prepared for July session.
