Christmas seals campaign opens with $12,000 goal

Committee named by Trades Council to visit locals
At the last regular meeting of the Co operative Trades and Labor Council an important committee was appointed to visit the affiliated locals and urge them to send their full quota of delegates to the central council meetings. The committee consists of Ed Dulli Joe Spaulding and Ralph Morningstar. The committee should be extended all cooperation possible by unions of the central body. Some unions have been inactive until in need of assistance, then their delegates appear, and disappear once tasks are finished. The council hopes the committee will report next Tuesday night and at future meetings.

The thirty fifth annual Christmas Health Seal Sale began Monday in Butler County. Dr H A Moore president of the Butler County Tuberculosis and Health Association announced the campaign. Mrs Frank M Suma of Hamilton is general county chairwoman with a list of assistants and school chairs. He urged larger gifts to expand prevention work and tuberculosis clinic services in 1942 to curb the disease.
