North Carolina Passes Workers Compensation Bill

The North Carolina lower house approved a compromise workers compensation bill, sending it back to the senate for amendments. It provides minimum seven dollars weekly, maximum eighteen dollars at sixty percent of earnings, five thousand five hundred dollar death payments, and coverage for permanent disability.
