Weekly Tuberculosis Clinic Held July 11th
The regular weekly Tuberculosis Clinic at Mercy Hospital on Friday July 11 was led by Dr J H Christiansen phthisiologist with assistance from Dr Edward T Keating County physician and nurses Virginia Smith Ruth Grace Henderson Estes. Four active TB cases were diagnosed and twelve patients were examined with three returning for check ups.

Quarantine Extended for Dogs in Hamilton County

Jobless total cut to 3,962,000 says board
The National Industrial Conference Board estimates unemployment fell by 1,895,000 in May to 3,962,000, the lowest since September 1930. Last May 8,735,000 were jobless. Manufacturing employment rose 164,000 in May despite the usual April to May decline.
