Ohio labor federation backs stamp plan for old age pensions

The Ohio State Federation of Labor executive board in Columbus considered old age pensions and financing. Denver Butchers Defy Court Strike Law Jailed

In Denver 27 striking meatpackers including a woman were jailed for 1 to 60 days after refusing a court order to return to work. Names and sentences include Timothy McCreash 60 days and W V W Hays seven days, with Rose Travison among those given one day. The court upheld the Colorado can’t strike law amid union defense and pending appeals.
