The coal strike ends at 3 35 Wednesday afternoon as International officers of the United Mine Workers accept President Wilson's plan. Miners return to work with a 14 percent wage increase and a three member commission to study the coal industry.
Printing Pressmen and Assistants Union No. 235 met in regar session in Middletown Wednesday night with a large attendance. The group nominated and endorsed candidates for International officers headed by President George L. Berry and including first vice president John M. Brophy, second vice president S. B. Marks, third vice president Wm. H. McHugh, and secretary Joseph C. Orr.
