Goldsbrough Mort & Co Limited announces a large Burra sale on Friday July 3 at 2 pm featuring 1650 plus sheep and wethers. Catalog lists numerous 1 2 and 3 year olds, Merino and Suffolk lines, lambs at foot, and fat wethers ready for market with various shorn dates and weights.

Miss C. P. Eerle of Unley received word that her brother Corporal C. L. Berle had been reported missing in Malaya since February 16 1942. Cpl Berle, who left for overseas in November 1940, was a resident of Booborowie.
