Burra Town Council Meeting Minutes January 1959
Burra Town Council met January 10 1959 in the Council Chamber. The mayor and councilors discussed minutes approval correspondence requests for building permissions and a sleep out at Mitchells Flat, a 30 by 18 feet wood and iron motor garage, institute nominations, and tennis court top dressing. Public works reports covered bridge approach, tree trimming, street bituminising, footbridge and lane improvements, swing bridge approaches, fence repairs, a condolence to Sir Patrick Muir MeBride, and the abstract of accounts totaling £257 17 21.
