Strawberry Fete at Sanson Opens with Prizes and Dancing
A Strawberry Fete was held at Sanson on 11 November with Mrs Randghl opening the event. Prizes were awarded for sponge and fruit cakes, articles, wool, flowers, and children's crafts. Dancing with the Catherine Band followed until 1 am as locals thanked supporters.

Cr Bevan seconded. carried. Cr Fisher moved cement steps to side entrance of Burra Town Hall. Cr Lee seconded. carried. Cr Field moved repair of culvert in front of Lehmanns Garage and Benee Ltd and in front of W Carpenter's Store Room. Cr Bevan seconded. carried. Cr Baulderstone read Abstract of Accounts adopted and accounts passed for payment. Meeting closed.
