Annie Pearce of Malvern is visiting her brother Isle Pearce and enjoying old friends. Mr and Mrs Ball will reside in Treowie, and their friends Mr and Mrs Walter Lee of Burra will miss them. Mr Lee has a military posting. his eldest son Bob is serving in the RAAY. The Lees plan to move nearer Mr Lee’s work location. Rumour states Mr and Mrs Frank Sims may move to Clare, and their many friends will miss them.
