A list of the 20 names was released by the District clerk s office Early this week. Jury commissioners mrs Janie Schnelle Richard Sanders sr., Cedar Park administrator resigns Cedar Park Cedar Park City administrator Richard Willi Ford has resigned his position under pressure effective after nov. 30. Williford s resignation was accepted unanimously by the City aldermen at a special called meet ing tuesday night. In a letter to mayor Ron Merrill and the Cedar Park City count ii released nov. 10, Williford pointed out that he had spent considerable time since a nov. 1 Council meeting evaluating his career priorities his commitment to professional work standards and ethics and his Impact upon the Community during his first three months As City administrator. According to Williford his con delusions from that evaluation led him to resign because his Contri Button to the City would not be compatible with existing conditions which were created before he became City administrator. Mayor Merrill s Only comment on the resignation was Quot we did not think he was right for the Job which would indicate that the resignation was prompted by Early Council action and City Hall friction. Williford took Over the City administrator s Job on aug. 1 this year after the City had gone a month and a half without an administrator Williford s predecessor. Barry Adair resigned in june to accept a position with the City of Brady. Williford said upon accepting the position Quot my most definite goal at this Point is to help the City become solidified As a political he added Quot goals Don t have to be specific right now i want to insure that the City Council gets the Best possible information on any Given Issue so it can make the Best possible decisions.
