Beauties Set To Compete In Highland Lakes Pageants
Miss Kingsland and Junior Miss Kingsland contests set for Saturday at Kingsland Country Club with judges Celia Ashley Dorothy Crockett Donna Walters and Powell Chariton. Miss Burnet Pageant on June 3 at Burnet High School Auditorium offers 100 to winner and 25 to first two runners up. Winners advance to Miss Highland Lakes and Miss Texas Universe preliminaries while Fifteen girls compete for Miss Burnet. Admission 2 adults 1 children.

The Texas Hill Country Tour gathers 800 to 1000 riders for a seventh year in Marble Falls at Fry's Fishing Camp on Lake Marble Falls. Riders tour hill country, visit Longhorn Cavern, and compete for 22 trophies while a motorcycle wedding is planned for Saturday involving Skip Hollister and Margo Burchfield.
