Marble Falls Coach Quits After 1 9 Season Losses
Marble Falls trustees accepted the resignation of athletic director and football coach Johnny Kolacek after a 1–9 season. Kolacek and his wife Gloria will stay through the year with no definite future plans. The board will seek and review applications for a new athletic director and coach at a special meeting.

Trustees To Order School Board Election
Burnet school trustees will order the 1977 School Board Election for April 2 at 7 30 p m in the high school cafeteria. Three year terms for Sally Williams and Gene Taylor expire that date. Taylor plans to run for reelection. Williams has not decided. The board will open bids for track curb work and related runways and review five TASB policies. Executive session to discuss staff hirings, leave, and the superintendent's contract. Wilkin will explain gas curtailment and TEA notice about makeup day.

Burnet County Court Sets Jan 17 Meeting on Bids and Bond
The Burnet County Commissioners Court calls a special session for January 17, 1977 at 9 a.m. to reset the opening date for bids on library furniture and to approve bonding for newly appointed county commissioner Hardy Willis. Willis was appointed last Monday to replace Jimmy Taylor who resigned the same day.
