Deputies Push Bids for Two Sheriff Cars at County Court
Chief Deputy Weldon Buck stayed with the Weld County Commissioners Monday as they agreed to start advertising for bids on two new sheriff cars. The move followed three months of consideration. The court also approved radio equipment purchases and a CAPCO order for two mobile radios and three walkie talkies, with the county covering 25 percent of an estimated 1250 dollars. Engineer Donald Sherman presented Horseshoe Bay South plat for 140 lots over 47.2 acres. County Clerk Wayne Barton confirmed compliance. The court approved filing the plat. Sherman also submitted Northwood Terrace plat within Marble Falls city limits with six lots over 8.6 acres, nearly five acres of drainage easement to the city.
