Burnet School Board Set Hearing On Budget And Policies

Burnet Independent School District invites public participation at a 7:30 p.m. meeting to review the proposed budget including flow through funds and a fixed tax rate recommendation for 1976-77. Marble Falls ISD Registration Schedule By Grade

Marble Falls Independent School District posts registration times for high school and junior high students on Friday. 9th to 12th graders register in the high school cafeteria from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jr High grades 6 through 8 register in the auditorium at specified times. Returning students from previous years should bring report cards immunization records and clearance cards for registration.

The district asks elementary new students to bring birth certificates and immunization records for polio diphtheria pertussis tetanus measles and rubella. Junior and senior high students must register before August 20 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. On August 20 seniors attend at 9 a.m. and juniors at 10:30 a.m. to review pre-registration and graduation requirements.

Burnet Hosts Three Day Teacher In service Seminar

About 250 teachers from Burnet and Hill Country area attend a three day in service at Bryce A. Taylor auditorium. The program covers topics from public financing to reading games and classroom motivation with separate elementary and secondary tracks. Lunch is provided daily.
