Fiddlers Festival Opens in Burnet With Three Day Contest
The 5th Annual Texas Old Time Fiddlers Festival begins at Industrial Park at 4 p.m. with judging to crown Champion Fiddler. Events include Old Time Accompanist, Oldest and Youngest Fiddler honors, crafts, rides, a Dunking Machine, Moon Walk, and a Saturday dance at Luther Ranch with Coldspring providing music. Terry Morris of Decatur aims to defend his three year title. a cash prize is offered. Tickets for the Saturday jamboree are $2.50.
