Stinger 28 of Marble Falls when the car in which he was Riding was broadside in the intersection of . 1431 and Northwood drive a sending the 1966 Plymouth into the Gas pumps of the Shamrock station on the Southeast Corner of the intersection. Stingel was Riding with his wife Yolanda 16, and her brother Carlos Carcia jr., 19, when their car driven by Garcia was struck on the passengers Side by a 1974 Buick driven by Martin r. Mcmillan 19, of Lakeview Village trailer Park. Mrs. Stingel who was Riding in the Back seat and Garcia were trapped in the car for a Short ally. Gen. The commissioners will finalize the Sale of the old Library building to the presbyterian Church. Zukie Bonnett have been simmering for several weeks since they first boiled up in a group protest in county attorney Gene Stratton s office in Burnet. The Bertram citizens who were upset by Bonnett s Zeal and priorities were told by Stratton that the Case should properly be handled by the City Council. A representative of the alcoholic beverages commission was expected to appear at the upcoming meeting but he has Send word that he will be unable to attend. The Council will go ahead with its discussion of charging for local Beer and wine permits not in excess of 50 percent of the state fee. The plan would net municipal revenues from the increasing number of Bertram merchants who have applied for permits for off premises Sale of Beer and wine since the City voted wet last month. So far three merchants have applied for permits. Other items on the Agenda Are discussions of an ordinance to establish a City tax rate the Ball Field the proposed fire Hall construction Street lights the housing authority and bulk trash pickup twice a year Bertram has been carting off the larger trash which is not removed in the usual garbage collection rounds. The Council will consider a Date for the fall bulk collection
