A representative of the alcoholic beverages commission was expected to appear at the upcoming meeting but he has Send word that he will be unable to attend. The Council will go ahead with its discussion of charging for local Beer and wine permits not in excess of 50 percent of the state fee. The plan would net municipal revenues from the increasing number of Bertram merchants who have applied for permits for off premises Sale of Beer and wine since the City voted wet last month. So far three merchants have applied for permits.
