He pledges strong oversight of education funding and support for guiding students toward academic, technical, or trade paths, with April 3, 1976 election stakes.

Llano Fiddlers Fest Opens Bicentennial Weekend
The Llano Chamber presents the Old Time Fiddlers Fest at Llano City Park on April 3 with fiddlers from Texas and beyond. The day features a 10 30 Bicentennial ceremony, a 6 p m barbecue, a 8 p m Community Center dance, noon contest start, five prize places across four age groups, and a grand playoff around 6 30 p m. Llano Lions Club and Ramblin Rose Band sponsor activities. Armond Taylor is director and Bud Otto co director. Admission is free for the public.
