Dorothy Oftedahl daughter of Mr and Mrs Olof Oftedahl of Seneca and Bruce D Hill son of Mr and Mrs Ray Hill of Buffalo Center were married Sunday afternoon June 9 at St Pauls Lutheran Church Ringsted in a candlelit ceremony. The archway altar pink gladioli and ferns framed the couple with music by Hans Aleckson Lucille Haas sang and attendees included Evelyn and Lorraine Oftedahl as bridesmaids. The bridal gown featured lace over tulle and satin with a lace cap veil. Parents and relatives attended as the newlyweds plan to live in Buffalo Center and Ridgeway Iowa for teaching and study commitments. The couple left for a northern Minnesota Canada honeymoon.

Bert Bolstad of Lake Mills faced drunk driving charges and was bound over to the next term.
