Twelve Bethlehem Lutheran members joined the District meeting of the Lutheran Church Convention in Fort Dodge last Wednesday and Thursday. Thompson to Teach and Coach at Collins Iowa High School
Larry Dean Thompson of Buffalo Center has signed a contract to teach and coach at Collins High School in Collins Iowa for next fall. He earned a BA in social science and physical education at Luther College Decorah and previously attended State Teachers College Cedar Falls. Thompson will teach U S and world history 8th grade civics and oversee two study halls while directing girls and boys basketball and boys baseball. He also played multiple sports at Buffalo Center High School and was a lifeguard during summers 1953 and 1954.
