Art Mitchell of the REA demonstrated electricity and gas cooking using a two burner hot plate and two kettles to compare boil times. electric won by thirty seconds. He offered a Broiler Party to teach efficient use of electric ranges. The next meeting will feature 4-H boys and girls in June.

Open house at Willie Murra’s farm June 5 from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Registration starts June 9 by tearing off caps or flaps on milk bottles cartons or butter packages at local stores. She was taken to Buffalo Center Clinic for treatment and then rushed to Park Hospital in Mason City, where she was reported getting along well.
